Top Dog/Atlantic recording artist Uncle Kracker is headed on a new path! Kid Rock's pal will headline his first-ever country music club tour. Dates for his "Its Good To Be Me Tour 2010" begin November 3 in Athens, Georgia and continue through mid-December. Support for the tour comes from Reprise Records recording artist Frankie Ballard, and fellow Detroit native - and Top Dog/Atlantic labelmate - Ty Stone.

In the meantime, Uncle Kracker is slated to criss-cross the country performing at an array of events, including a number of arena shows supporting country superstar Jason Aldean. For up-to-the-minute tour information, please visit www.unclekracker.com.

The nearly-non-stop schedule follows the recent release of Happy Hour - The South River Road Sessions, a six song collection featuring reinterpretations of tracks originally found on Uncle Kracker's 2009 album, Happy Hour. Uncle Kracker's latest single, "Good To Be Me"– featuring guest vocals from longtime friend/songwriting partner Kid Rock, who also produced the track, is currently beginning its ascent at the country format. The single's companion video clip can be viewed her: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06WM8oLH87M.

Kracker has flexed his country music muscles previously in his career, having collaborated with Kenny Chesney, who he also toured with, on "When the Sun Goes Down" in 2004. He also co-wrote Kid Rock's smash, "All Summer Long."

"I've always had a genuine passion for country. I think that audiences appreciate that, and that's why they're giving me a chance," Uncle Kracker explained in a statement. "Country music was one of the types of music I grew up with, so elements of it naturally come out in my songwriting. Listening to a lot of my songs - all the way back to 'Follow Me' - I feel like I've been making country music for years." Tour dates are below:
