Universal Bumps 3 Films

Universal Pictures has bumped the release date for several major films on its 2009 docket. The remake of The Wolfman, starring Benicio Del Toro, has been moved from April 3 to November 6 to allow for more post-production work as well as a promotional push during the pre-holiday season. The already completed The Fast and Furious 4 has now been moved to April 3 instead of its originally intended June 12 release date.
Additionally, Nottingham has been removed from the 2009 slate altogether in favor of a 2010 release, since the film won't even begin shooting until February or March. The studio did not indicate an exact release month or date for the revisionist take on the Robin Hood legend as directed by Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe and Sienna Miller.
