Usher's bitter custody battle with ex-wife Tameka Foster has resumed and rages on. The former couple put aside their differences when her 11-year-old son Kile died last month from brain injuries that were the result of a jet ski accident, with Usher chartering a flight for his ex so she could rush to Kile's side. But now, the gloves are of and they are going mano y mano.
Usher asked for a break in the custody battle so as not to cause "unnecessary stress and strain" so soon after Kile's death. That was thoughtful of him, no?
Foster ain't buying it, accusing him of playing for sympathy and suggesting that his request is tied to an ulterior motive.
According to TMZ, Foster says Usher's claims are bogus, since he only saw his former stepson once during his 15 days on life support. She says she asked him to tweet a request to fans to pray for Kile, but didn't, instead tweeting a photo of his food.
Foster calls the request to postpone the custody hearing "a transparent sham."
A hearing is slated for Aug. 13.
Jeez, Tameka. Your son JUST died. Can't let this simma down now?
