    VH1 to Launch "100 Greatest Women in Music" Special Beginning Feb. 13 - It will run for five nights, one hour per night

    Women rule and countdown specials rock! Those are both tenets of pop culture and TV that cannot be changed or denied.

    Now, VH1 is combining the two together for a week that pays homage to the women who made their mark in the music industry. The special 100 Greatest Women in Music will honor female artists who have thrived in the music industry from 1990 to present day. The list will honor female artists in a range of genres including pop, R & B, rap, country and rock. The five-night, one-hour special 100 Greatest Women in Music premieres Monday, Feb. 13 at 10 PM and concludes Friday, Feb. 17.

    It's time to recognize the women who changed music history with the premiere of VH1's 100 Greatest Women in Music..
