Minneapolis rock & roll band takes over the backyard.
Watch, don't "Tell!" Today, we are premiering The 4onthefloor's video for "Don't Tell Me," from their album All In, out now. It's a ragin' good time. Sort of!
These alt rockers craft a gritty, dirty Delta Blues rock with a rootsy vibe. The music feels very much like… real life that has been lived. And yes, those are all good things. Make that "great" things.
The video finds the band, several members of which rock beards and aviator shades, performing in the backyard. There's frisbees, tank tops and summertime fun happening throughout.
We love how the video has a gruff, Instagram filter-like patina, too! No gloss, all grit, all good!
Frontman Gabriel Douglas told us, "This song is about living in the moment, being a part of the journeys that life gives you, surrounding yourself with the greatest sources of living you can, and having FUN, in spite of everything else. Marcel the Shell said, 'You wanna know why I smile, 'cuz it's worth it' And that is the truth. It's worth it to live the life you want to lead. It’s out there for you. Don't let ANYBODY tell you differently."
No truer words, ARTISTdirectioners, No truer words!
The band is currently touring in support of their new album. See all The 4onthefloor's tour dates. Let The 4onthefloor "tell" you how it is.
