Vintage Gear of Jimi Hendrix, The Who Damaged by Nashville Floods

Homes, business and priceless, vintage rock 'n' roll memorabilia are all victims of the flooding in Nashville. Curators at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum were unable to rescue some of the instruments at the Hall, which remained submerged under water for days. Relics like Jimi Hendrix's 1966 Fender, Pete Townshend's guitar from The Who's "Quadrophenia" tour and hundreds of other items were affected by the flooding. According to a report published in The Tennessean, some of the gear was insured, but despite that fact, the insurance can't replicate the history implicit in these pieces of gear. The instruments will be restored as best as possible.
Did you do anything to donate to the relief efforts in Nashville? If not, what are you waiting for? Seriously.
