One look at my last name tells you what my nationality is. Yes, I am proudly Italian, as is ARTISTdirect.com editor Rick Florino, so we always have a deep-seeded appreciation for Italian artists, especially ones with massive voices that sing Italian standards.

I am a huge fan of Bell'Aria, the five-piece consisting of two lovely gals and two handsome gents with golden voices. I am even getting my dad a copy of their album, Little Italy for Christmas so it can fill the house during the holidays.

ARTISTdirect is proud to present this exclusive video interview with Bell'Aria. Check out the Hollywood backdrop while the band opens up about an array of topics amid the gorgeous California weather and scenery.

It's all about the voices with Bell'Aria, which fill the room and lift it with passion and talent. The five-piece talk about how the songs they sing are the songs they grew up listening to and how they are Italian immigrants who affirm their roots by singing these classic songs like "Volare" and "Mambo Italiano." Bell'Aria also fully believe you don't have to be Italian to appreciate their music! I have to agree. You just need a soul to embrace these standards and classics and to enjoy them to the fullest extent. Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Rosemary Clooney would be proud of these singers.

The songs (and the voices of the members of Bell'Aria) are universal, but they will help bring out the piece of Little Italy that resides in all of us!

Mi piace la music Italiana e si dovrebbe piace la musica italiana. Can you translate that?

    Watch it now below!

Did you watch the video? Do you feel a spring in your step now? What's your favorite Italian standard?
