Watch Bono Become The First Man To Ever Receive A Glamour Woman Of The Year Award

Earlier this year, Bono became the first man to ever win a Glamour Woman of the Year award. Last night, at a ceremony in Hollywood, the unsurprisingly woke Bono accepted the honor and also referred to it as "ridiculous".
Amy Poehler introduced the U2 singer and gave him the award saying, "People like Bono give me faith in men. [He's] dedicated his life to being a light for so many who are scared and alone."
Upon receiving the award, Bono made a few jokes about the ridiculousness of the situation and read some Tweets about it, including one saying, "Sure, Glamour named Bono Woman of the Year, but in their defense, the transition lenses do make him look like a 75-year-old lady from Miami."
He then took a moment to be more serious about the past year and the country's uncertain future, "2016 might be the year I stop believing north stars are always visible, even through a layer of fog. This year, the north star looked like a neon sign, fizzing and crackling, 'hate for hire,' 'girls for rent,' 'women need not apply.' I say to the president-elect, look across to women. Make equality a priority. It is the only way forward. The train is leaving the station, be on it or be under it."
