Watch Eddie Vedder and Bill Murray Sing "The Weight" At Chicago Cubs Party After World Series Game

It's been over 100 years since the Chicago Cubs have won the World Series, but after last night's game 6 victory, they are now only one win away. Illinois natives Eddie Vedder and Bill Murray joined in a celebration after the game and sang a cover of The Band-classic, "The Weight". A song all too fitting for the situation, with Game 7 coming tonight.
The sing-song affair happened after Saturday's victory, where Murray and Vedder headed to an afterparty in Wrigleyville. Vedder and Derek Trucks played an acoustic version of the famed track with Murray joyously singing along with the crowd.
Just a few days ago, things were not looking too good for the North Side Chicago ball players, as they were down 3-1. But after surviving two elimination games, the dream still survives. Nonetheless, the proverbial 'Weight' has not been removed from their shoulders, and the longest wait for a Major League Baseball championship in history is still up in the air.
We hope Murray and Vedder have more tunes in store for us if the Cubs win tonight.
Both Bill Murray and Eddie Vedder sang during the seventh-inning stretch when the series was in Chicago.
Game 7 airs tonight from Cleveland at 8PM on Fox.
