It was a "Party" and it "Rocked," when an "Anthem" was played at the MLB Fan Cave last week!
Grammy Award-nominated LMFAO performed at the MLB Fan Cave, which is easily one of the coolest spots for live music in New York City in 2011! Don't be pissed if you weren't there, since we have footage! There's plenty of breakdancing. Too. Much. Fun. Was. Had.
LMFAO, featuring Redfoo and Sky Blu, performed their current Billboard chart topper "Party Rock Anthem." They were introduced by World Champion and 30 Rock star Judah Friedlander.
Go here to watch the performance.
The performance was part of the MLB Fan Cave Concert Series and was streamed live by MLBFanCave.com and MLB.com both online and through their Facebook pages. The concert also was streamed live to two Major League Baseball ballparks for fans to enjoy prior to game action tonight. Fans in attendance at US Cellular Field in Chicago and Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City saw the performance on in-stadium scoreboard monitors prior to the game. Live pop music and baseball -- what could be more fun?
In case you've not been made aware of the MLB Fan Cave, it's an exciting new hub mixing baseball with music, popular culture, media, interactive technology, and art, the MLB Fan Cave is a 15,000 square-foot location at 4th Street & Broadway (the site of the old Tower Records) in the heart of New York City's Greenwich Village where two MLB fans are watching all 2,430 Major League Baseball games for the season on a massive wall of 15 televisions. The fans are blogging and tweeting about their experience and starring in a web series that has included visits from more than 120 Major League players, retired players, celebrities and recording artists.
The Cave is where it's at. If you are in New York City, you should try and check it out.
