Our new most favorite video is Ingrid Michaelson's "Blood Brothers."
While it might sound trite but the song is all about spreading good vibes and treating others the way you want to be treated and it was inspired by a shoulder bump on a Manhattan street. Honestly, for us, that's not trite. It's the stuff of life, that which makes it interesting, kind of like Ingrid's tunes.
In the video, we see the bespectacled Michaelson morph into her favorite artists, trying on their skin and their style. We watch her being made up to look like Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse, John Lennon, Beyoncé, David Bowie and more. The makeup artists are amazing, since she transforms beautifully and believably. It's a fitting tribute.
