It wasn't too long ago that Justin Timberlake debuted his new single, "Can't Stop The Feeling" with a music video that featured Timberlake and his co-stars for Dreamworks' upcoming animated film based on the iconic toy Trolls. Timberlake lends his voice to a Troll character as well as the soundtrack. While the movie doesn't hit theaters until November 4, "Can't Stop The Feeling" now has a second-official-music video. Whereas the first video featured the voice-actors in Trolls, including fellow pop musician Gwen Stefani, Anna Kendrick, and James Corden busting moves in a recording studio, this official music video takes "The Feeling" to the streets, so to speak.
Mark Romanek's music video assembles a remarkable cast of extremely happy working class folks, a child, an inflatable airdancer, and Justin Timberlake, united by the cheery promise of Timberlake's Trolls' theme song. Everyone does their best to fulfill the song's message the best way they know how; by dancing. Timberlake also rides a shopping cart around the supermarket; sings into a banana; and enjoys a dish of diner pie (that looks to be of the berry variety).
Besides writing a chart-topping theme song for Trolls, Timberlake also acted as an executive producer for the movie's soundtrack, that'll see release in September. Billboard reports, RCA executive vp/GM Joe Riccitelli has given a ballpark forecast for a new Justin Timberlake album, "early next year, more than likely." Justin's last album was 2013's excellent The 20/20 Experience.
