We tend to be cynics. But this initiative and this video warmed our blackened-to-a-crisp hearts. It will do the same for yours.
The Songs For Kids Foundation is a nonprofit, which, over the last few years, has brought musicians of all size and fame to children's hospitals and special needs kids camps across the country to help enrich children's lives with song.
This year, Josh Rifkind and Sanjay Kothari put together the first Songs For Kids National Tour. In what may be the biggest multi-children's hospital outreach program in history, the Songs For Kids Tour 2013 saw Josh and Sanjay perform in 240 children's hospitals in 240 days, and visit 180 cities.
Along this tour, kids at over 200 children's hospitals performed Journey's "Don't Stop Believin.'"
Watch this amazing video of the kids performing below. Our hearts are warmed and we are reminded of the good in people. These artists and these kids are INSPIRATIONS TO US ALL!!
Songs For Kids is working around the clock to provide a life-changing experience and inspiration for thousands of children, especially with those who suffer from isolation when dealing with an illness or hardship. These are not typical performances. At these shows the audience, the kids, are the stars!

When this tour ends on Thanksgiving, Josh and Sanjay will have logged 350 performances at 240 hospitals, making this one of the most extensive tours of the year for any musician on the road this year.
A 2014 Songs For Kids national tour will kick off next May.
