Wee-Man for "Best Supporting Actor" Oscar in "Jackass 3-D"

There is no man in show biz—of any stature—that works as hard as Jason "Wee-Man" Acuña. That's simply a fact. His ingenuity led to some of the biggest laughs in the Jackass TV series, however, his work in the first two Jackass films was Oscar-worthy. Yet, he was slighted by "The Academy," as they like to call themselves.
For a lack of a better term, the Academy was being extremely short-sighted. This is as much of an injustice as Martin Scorsese losing best director for Goodfellas to Kevin Costner for Dances with Wolves or Al Pacino having to wait until Scent of a Woman for his little gold man! Watching the trailer for Jackass 3-D and seeing Wee-Man take out Bam Margera with a giant hand-slapping mechanism was utterly hilarious and way more poignant than any other action display we've seen this year.
For that very reason, we here at ARTISTdirect.com would like to lobby for "Wee-Man" to win best supporting actor at the Academy Awards. He deserves an Oscar for his storied catalog. If you agree leave a comment and share this.
Hail Wee-Man! Let's get him a statue for Jackass 3-D! It hits theaters October 15, will you be seeing it?
