The Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am is developing an American Idol-type talent show for nerds who become billionaires. Sort of.
The ever-enterprising will is hoping to find the next Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg. The show would celebrate inventors.
The Pea says, "We need creative people working with broadcasters, making smart content to inspire people to be geniuses. It will be great TV and great for society."
He is in discussions and negotiation phases for the show.
It might present a problem for people who don't want to share their intellectual property and have it jacked by a viewer. But it is so much more appealing than ANOTHER reality singing show like American Idol or The Voice.
