Country icon Willie Nelson made off with a slap on the wrist. He was not, however, slapped with felony charges stemming from his arrest on November 26 for possession of marijuana. He simply walked away with a misdemeanor.
Nelson was originally suspected of carrying six ounces of the drug, which was found on his tour bus while traveling from California to Texas. Nelson, 77, turned out to be carrying only four ounces, which lessened the charge and punishment. He was given a $4,000 fine and avoided the one-year prison term that comes with the charge.
What do you think of the outcome of the Nelson issue?
