Los Angeles punk rockers X, who have been laying waste to music fan's ears for 33 years, have announced a series of West Coast shows around the holidays. The fun will begin right before the holiday season on December 15 and will carry through New Year's Day.

In keeping with the blazing trend of bands playing full albums in their entirety around their anniversaries, X will play Los Angeles in its entirety at these shows, as 2010 marks the 30th anniversary of that landmark album. 2010 also signals the 25th anniversary of the doc, X, The Unheard Music, so the film will be screened before the band takes the stage.

But wait, that's not all. Since the shows fall in line with the festivities of Christmas, the band will offer their take on holiday classics. That's like saying Grandpa gave you his "version" of egg nog, which translates to spiked with whiskey. Fun times ahead in the City of Angels and on the Left Coast.

    The tour dates are below:

12/15 - Hollywood, CA - HOB Sunset Strip
    12/16 - Ventura CA - Majestic Theatre
    12/17 - Anaheim, CA - HOB Anaheim
12/19 - Solana Beach, CA - Belly Up Tavern
    12/27 - Bakersfield, CA - Chrystal Palace
    12/28 - San Francisco, CA - Slim's
    12/29 - San Francisco, CA - Slim's
    12/31 - Seattle, WA - Moore Theatre
    1/1 - Portland, OR - Roseland Theater

Are you planning to spend at least one of your holiday moments with X? What Christmas song would you like to see X cover?
