Britney Spears, a Louisiana native, is offering a chance to meet her at the MTV Video Music Awards or win the costume she will be wearing if you donate $10 to help Louisiana flood relief efforts. "The money raised will help the Red Cross provide food, water, shelter and comfort items for the thousands displaced by the torrential rain and historic floods that have ravaged the state," reports Rolling Stone.

One winner will win roundtrip airfare for two to New York City, get two tickets to the MTV VMAs on 8/28 at Madison Square Garden, and meet Britney at the show before her performance. The other winner will win Britney's outfit from her VMA performance and an autographed album. For more details, check out the American Red Cross Crowdfire fundraiser.

According to the Red Cross, "Thirteen people died, and about 30,000 people have been rescued from the floods. At least 60,000 homes have been damaged.

"The Red Cross has mounted a massive relief operation in Louisiana, helping to provide shelter, food and comfort right now to individuals and families in need. So far Red Cross disaster teams have opened dozens of shelters, provided nearly 42,000 overnight stays, served more than 261,000 meals and snacks, and distributed nearly 58,800 relief items. Red Cross mental health and health services volunteers are providing emotional support. More than 1,700 Red Cross workers are supporting relief efforts right now."

Last week, Taylor Swift donated $1 million to help with the flood relief efforts.
