YouTube Hosts Live Concert
YouTube has announced plans for a two-hour concert at San Francisco's Herbst Pavilion on November 22. "YouTube Live" will focus on acts that used the site as a springboard for success, including Akon, Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, will.i.am and more. Among the sponsors for the event are Lionsgate (Saw V), Activision (Guitar Hero World Tour) and Virgin America, who will stream the show on its planes.According to Variety.com and a YouTube statement, the event will "serve as a concert, variety show and party for its talent and viewers."
