    Indie "It" girl Zooey Deschanel is headed to the Great White Way. The actress/singer (She & Him) will play country legend Loretta Lynn in a new musical stage show based on the country star's life story.

    The show is based on Lynn's 1976 autobiography Coal Miner's Daughter. The film, which dropped in 1980, starred Sissy Spacek as Lynn. She won an Oscar for her efforts.
