SHAKE - Lexington's Own

SHAKE is a 5 piece indie rock band from Lexington, Kentucky. Utilizing a combination of soul searching lyrics, a hard hitting - infectious groove, unique instrumentation(flugal horn and trumpet), and Michelle Johnson's dynamic vocals, SHAKE offers something for everyone. SHAKE was a runner-up (out of 96 entries) in the 100.1 WKQQ/Miller Lite Decent Exposure battle of the bands after only 1 year since the band's formation. The band is generating airplay on WXZZ(Z103) Starlight Lounge, WKQQ(Local Live), WRVG in Georgetown(national Broadcast on the program "Rhythm"!), and has received airplay on WTFX(The Fox)Louisville's premier rock station! All of this, and the CD has yet to be released! SHAKE is planning on a spring release of the tentatively entitled "One Kick Ass Winebago."
