Since 1994 active in the metal scene as Stigmatheist, who released the cd It all ends today in 1998 through the Voices of Wonder record label, the band returns after a period of reflection as InrI.
After the departure of a few members the other members, with reinforcements decide to completly change tack. With their Do or Die attitude the band appears on stage again with their new name InrI in the beginning of 2001
InrI is playing brutal metal with the better guitar riffs like bands as God Dethroned and the Crown combined with the blasts like a band as Malevolent Creation.
After some well received gigs with bands like Morbid Angel, Darkane and Krisiun, the band will record a full length cd in the Franky's Recording Kitchen Studio. The title of the cd will be " Hyper Bastard Breed" and will propably be released through the Cold Blood Industries Record Label.
