    Biography

    New York's Last Burning Embers are an atmospheric post-punk band in the spirit of Mission of Burma, the Sound and Killing Joke, as well as later bands like Swervedriver and Catherine Wheel. Vocalist Ben Voss, guitarist/vocalist/songwriter David Burokas, drummer Jack Rabid (Springhouse, The Big Takeover) and bassist Tom Burke (Slambook) formed the band in 1997.
