Dead Meadow features two members of Washington DC's defunct The Impossible Five (Gern Blandsten) and short-lived project Colour (Her Magic Field) but nods to the atmospheric heavy psychedelic drones of Blue Cheer, Zeppelin, Sleep and Sabbath.
