Originally called EVEN and formed at the University of New Brunswick in 1997, this quintet played various clubs and the Atlantic Canadian university circuit before receiving a big break. Upon hearing of a North American Battle of the Bands contest, the group uploaded its song "Can You Feel the Rain" onto the contest's website.
