    Multi-instrumentalist and studio engineer Happy Rhodes (b. Aug. 9, 1965; Poughkeepsie, NY) began recording her own compositions in the mid-'80s, and had amassed enough songs for two albums by the time she met Kevin Bartlett, the owner of Aural Gratification Records.
