Bikeride began as a thesis project for Tony Carbone, the band's leads singer, at California's Loyola Marymount University. After finishing his thesis he turned the project around to release their first self-released debut Here Comes The Summer! Parasol quickly noticed the band and signed them on to release Thirty Seven Secrets Only I Told America on Hidden Agenda Records.
