    Hong Kong-based singer and actress Miriam Yeung quickly became one of Cantopop's biggest superstars after rising to fame on television. Born on February 3, 1974, she worked as a registered nurse at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Hong Kong prior to finishing third at the 1995 New Talent Singing Awards.
