Neo-metal act Amen was formed in Los Angeles in 1994 by singer Casey Chaos and guitarist Paul Fig; eventually onetime Ugly Kid Joe drummer Shannon Larkin signed on, bringing with him ex-Snot guitarist Sonny Mayo.
