CartAustin Mahone Signs to Chase Records

Universal Music announced a deal with new imprint Chase Records. Chase Records, founded by Rocco Valdes, Michael Blumstein, and David Abram, will join the Universal family with distribution, marketing and radio promo through Universal Republic. The new label will focus all efforts on teen pop sensation Austin Mahone, who is all of 16 and about to blow the fuck up. Trust us. We know this shit.

Their resources are second to none, their stable of artists is top notch, and their team of executives, A&R, and radio reps are the strongest in the industry. We couldn't have asked for a better support system and are excited to have their resources and support to launch Chase Records and the career of teen phenom, Austin Mahone," said Rocco Valdes, Michael Blumstein and David Abram, Founders of Chase Records, in a joint statement.
Austin Mahone will be the first artist with an album release on the new imprint. Mahone's new single, "Say Somethin" is lighting up at radio. Mahone will make his live debut on Live! With Kelly, performing the song on, September 20.
Mahone is working with hitmaker Bei Maejor on his first full length album now. Fans can expect the album this fall.
