Lisa Marie Presley Gets Hitched Again

Wise men say only fools rush in… but what fun is caution? Lisa Marie Presley, baby girl to Elvis, married her latest beau in a traditional Japanese ceremony in Kyoto last week. It is Presley’s fourth marriage. This time, though, she may have paid those wise men some mind, as she and new hubby Michael Lockwood have reportedly been together for two years.

That marks a departure from Lisa Marie’s last marriage to a Michael; who can forget her whirlwind romance with Wacko Jacko? There was also a stormy, ill-fated union with actor Nicolas Cage, and -- the lone success story among Lisa Marie’s marital debris -- a marriage to Danny Keough, father to Presley’s two children. While Jackson and Cage are presumably no longer part of the new bride’s life, Keough served as the best man at the ceremony.

Lockwood is obviously unfazed by baggage; for those keeping score, that’s one ex-husband who’s evolved into a dear friend and one ex-husband who is Michael Jackson. Yikes.

Lisa Marie was given away by mother Priscilla Presley, while Lockwood’s parents were also on hand to witness the wedding. The bride and groom began as musical partners; Lockwood recorded with Lisa Marie and toured as her musical director, then served as executive producer on her 2005 gold record Now What. He has also worked with artists ranging from Fiona Apple to Carly Simon.
