Ashlee Loses Some Pieces - Of Her Nose!

When Ashlee Simpson did a concert in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 6th, her voice wasn't the only thing that seemed a little smoother than usual. The "L.O.V.E." singer, who hadn't appeared in public since hosting the Australian MTV Video Awards back on April 12, appeared to be sporting a sleeker nose, which immediately fired up rumors that the younger Simpson sister had undergone plastic surgery.

The ever-sleuthful Us Weekly was the first to report rumors of Ashlee's rhinoplasty, and even got Dr. 90210 surgeon Raj Kanodia to confirm that Simpson had visited him for a consultation, though he would not admit to putting her under the knife. "I do closed rhinoplasty," he told Us. "No cuts or scars. It’s the way to go, especially on someone beautiful like Ashlee Simpson."

When asked point-blank about the rumors in a recent interview with the Associated Press, Ashlee remained coy on the subject. "Everybody’s already saying it, so I just don’t talk about it," she said. "I’m like, OK, whatever. It doesn’t bother me."

When pressed further to confirm or deny any nasal alterations, Simpson giggled and said, "Maybe -- who knows?" Hm..."knows," "nose"...are you making a pun, Ashlee? Or are we giving you too much credit?

Simpson and her new schnoz will be hitting the road this summer in support of her latest album, the now-somewhat-ironically titled I Am Me.
