"Most exciting coffee shop on the planet" ready to rock 'n' roll all night, caffeinate every day.
Kiss Opens Outrageous Coffeehouse
The merchandising gods have long smiled upon Kiss fans who might want to light their homes with Kiss candles, suck on Kiss lollipops, or spend their spare hours assembling Kiss jigsaw puzzles. But the luckiest fans are now the ones in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons will appear on June 27th to cut the ribbon on the most outrageous coffee and dessert shop ever constructed. The Kiss Coffeehouse will give members of the Kiss Army a chance to make a pit stop for signature blends like the French Kiss Vanilla. "Every army needs food and drink and the Kiss Army is no exception!" crows Simmons. "Even the non-enlisted will find our treats and java rockin' good!"
With 20-foot smoking Kiss boots flanking the storefront, and rare Kiss memorabilia and costume pieces on display, the Kiss Coffeehouse hopes to raise the bar for retail design.
In conjunction with the grand opening, one thousand bags of the Kiss Army Blend will be shipped to the US Armed Forces serving in Iraq.
Store owner Brian Galvin is, naturally, a long-time Kiss fan, and he pledges to meet the high expectations of the discriminating Army. "The idea was to take the energy and excitement of the live Kiss show and bring it into a retail setting," Galvin said. "This is truly the most exciting coffee shop on the planet." That's all well and good, but hopefully the baristas will refrain from spitting blood when they take your order.
