Em Off the Hook in Strip Club Fracas

For unknown reasons, the man who claimed he was beaten by Eminem in a strip club bathroom has dropped his complaint, before Detroit police had a chance to question Em himself on the matter.

Miad J. originally filed charges last Thursday (July 13), claiming that Marshall Mathers punched him in the face four or five times during an altercation in the men's room of Cheetah, a strip club on Detroit's infamous Eight Mile Road. J. said the fight broke out when another man entered the restroom and began talking to Eminem, who was at a urinal next to Miad J.. When a bodyguard of Eminem's told the man to be quiet, J. told the bodyguard to "ease up" on the starstruck fan.

"Eminem got done and boom -- he started swinging," J. told the local Action News affiliate, WXYZ. "I wasn't even expecting it. I was just minding my own business, taking a leak."

J. went so far as to show marks on his face to the TV cameras, which he claimed were from where Eminem had punched him.

Owners of Cheetah confirmed that there was a fight at the club, and that Eminem was present, but would not comment further. Eminem and his representatives have remained silent regarding the incident.
