Rocker and professional bombshell will get hitched at the end of the month.
Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson to Wed
Well, if anyone can make an honest man out of Kid Rock, it's probably Pamela Anderson. The curvaceous Baywatch star confessed in her online diary Tuesday morning (July 18) that she was getting married again, but did not say to whom. But now her representatives have confirmed that the lucky man to follow in Tommy Lee's footsteps is none other the "Cowboy" rap-rocker from Detroit.Rock and Anderson had been engaged once before, in 2002, but the couple broke up before a wedding date was set. This time, they're not dawdling -- according to Us Weekly, nuptials have been set for July 29, on a yacht near St. Tropez, France.
"It's been a whirlwind," the former Playboy playmate gushed on her website. "Spontaneous but well thought through....I've raised my kids alone in hope of a miracle. Well my miracle came and went. And came back and came back because he knew that I'd wake up one day and realize that I was waiting for nothing. I'm moving on...I feel like I'm finally free....I'm in love. I'm happy....I see the light...sounds dramatic but it's true."
This will be Anderson's second marriage; her first, to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, lasted three years. For Kid Rock, who so far hasn't posted any stream-of-consciousness diary entries on his website, it will be his first marriage.
