Beyonce Knowles and her mom, Tina, have been hit with a $1.5 million breach of contract lawsuit by a former business partner who says he helped the duo secure a deal to create their clothing line, House of Dereon. Greg Walker, CEO of Icon Entertainment, says that Tina Knowles has only paid him $25,000, despite an agreement that entitled him to $1.5 million after brokering a deal for the Knowles family with Wear Me Apparel Corp. worth $15 million.

"Beyonce and Tina Knowles agreed on the terms of our business relationship, but have failed to properly compensate me for reasons unknown to me," said a statement released by Walker. "I just want to receive my fair share and move on with my business."

Walker says that the other party involved, Wear Me Apparel, has also failed to pay him in full. They, too, are now on the receiving end of a lawsuit. Spokesmen for the two clothing companies did not comment when reached by The Associated Press.

Beyonce is also facing some backlash, albeit not of the legal variety, from her own fanbase. Some fans have launched a petition drive in the hopes that Beyonce will reshoot the video for "Déjà Vu," saying that the dust-kickin' current video features "confusing" dancing, "ridiculous" outfits and "unacceptable interactions" with Jay-Z.
