Bigger Bang Tour Rolls Back to North America

Halifax! Are you ready to rock?! Everyone's favorite geriatric rockers, The Rolling Stones, are set to return to North America for a second round of Bigger Bang tour dates, and this time, they'll be thrilling some of their fans in more remote areas by playing several cities that are well off the beaten megatour path.

In addition to the usual suspects like Boston (where the tour starts), Chicago, Seattle, and Los Angeles (where it concludes), the Stones will make rare appearances in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Wichita, Kansas; Missoula, Montana; Regina, Saskatchewan; El Paso, Texas; and Boise, Idaho.

"Keith's fine, his head's better, it's all there," said Mick Jagger in a video statement. "He's playing well, he's enjoying himself, I know he's looking forward to coming on this leg of the tour."

Keith Richards himself, who famously injured his head by falling out of a palm tree while vacationing in Fiji, also appears on the video to confirm Jagger's assessment of his condition. "I'm feeling great and can't wait to get there," says the most famously indestructible guitarist in rock.

Another troubled Stone, guitarist Ron Wood -- who reportedly had do a stint in an alcohol rehab clinic before he join the band on its current European tour -- also appears on the video, declaring, "Once again we have a massive stage show for you."

That show will include onstage seating for 200 lucky audience members, plus limited Gold Circle seats for the big spenders. For everyone else, the band promises cheaper tickets prices than on their last North American trek, plus $20 discounts for students, according to Billboard.com. No word yet on opening bands, although "young, contemporary opening acts" are promised.
