Mick Jagger's voice still not up to snuff; band will try reschedule second cancelled gig.

    Stones Cancel Second Spain Show

With Mick Jagger's vocal chords still ailing, The Rolling Stones' have been forced to cancel their only other show in Spain. They already scrapped a performance scheduled for last night (August 14) in Valladolid, Spain; now they're skipping an August 16 show in El Ejido, which means they won't perform again until they head back home to London for a show on August 20.

"I am very sorry to be canceling this show," Mick said (well, wrote -- he still can't talk) in a statement. "I always love playing in Spain, but unfortunately I have no other choice and I apologize to everyone who bought tickets for tonight."

Jagger remains under doctor's orders to rest his famous vocal chords, which gave out despite his recent hiring of a vocal coach. The band is promising to refund all 37,000 tickets sold for the Valladolid gig, and is seeking a make-up date for the El Ejido show.
