Black Eyed Peas singer talks about former addiction in Time magazine interview.

    Fergie's "Hardest Boyfriend": Crystal Meth

Before she was singing about her lovely lady lumps, Fergie was doing bumps of a different kind -- she was hooked on crystal meth, she has revealed.

In an interview in the latest issue of Time magazine, the Black Eyed Peas singer talks openly about her youthful addiction, which she blames in part on the pressures of being a child actor. "It was the hardest boyfriend I ever had to break up with," she tells the magazine. "I dug deep as to why I got there. It's the drug that's addicting. But it's why you start doing it in the first place that's interesting. A lot of it was being a child actor; I learned to suppress feelings."

Now, Fergie says, she's able to vent those feelings onstage: "I have an hour and a half of performing every night and improvising. If there's a rafter, I can climb right on."

The interview also clears up one of the biggest questions surrounding the Peas' diminutive first lady: She hasn't met the other Fergie -- Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York -- in person, but the two have spoken on the phone about "doing some charity work together, building schools."

And she still won't explain what exactly the line "My London Bridge want to go down" means, but we're pretty sure all you Time readers out there can figure it out on your own.
