Microsoft Launches Zune With Free Concerts
After months of hype, Microsoft is finally launching its Zune portable media player on Tuesday, November 14th. The device is the software giant's big bid to compete with Apple's wildly successful iPod line.To add to the media circus surrounding the launch, Microsoft will be hosting free concerts in six major U.S. cities on Monday, November 13th. Presumably, anyone who attends the shows can expect to be heavily marketed to -- but hey, that's a small price to pay for free music, right? Especially when some of these shows are rumored to be in venues far smaller than the bands usually play.
Here are full details on each of the six shows:
NEW YORK: Queens Of The Stone Age (9pm) FREE
As announced by BrooklynVegan.com(http://www.brooklynvegan.com) tickets can be picked up @ Circuit City in Union Square TODAY (Friday) starting @ 7pm EST on a first come first serve basis. Tickets come in pairs and you must be 21 or over.

LOS ANGELES: Red Hot Chili Peppers (8pm) FREE
As announced by LAist.com (http://www.laist.com) tickets must be picked up @ Circuit City (4400 Sunset Blvd) TODAY starting @ 7pm on a first come first serve basis. Tickets come in pairs and you must be 21 or over.
