Kevin Federline vows to come back wiser and stronger in 2007.
K-Fed Soldiers On, Taking Failures "In Stride"
Kevin Federline has seen plenty of days as a punchline since separating from Britney Spears and releasing a debut album that tanked on the sales charts. But the rapper/dancer is brushing off any reports that all the hard knocks have been getting him down."I am good, I am great," he told E! in a recent interview. "You know... just moving along, progressing and taking it all in stride." He said that he had already made some resolutions for the New Year, hoping to bounce back "a little bit wiser, a little bit stronger."
Federline is still seeking sole custody of his two children with Spears -- along with spousal financial support -- and his own partyboy reputation has been overshadowed in a big way by his ex, who has been stepping out on the town (sometimes sans undergarments) with new galpals Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.
Spears has been through some ups and downs in her career, but this year was rather remarkably the fifth time in six years that she topped Yahoo!'s list of most frequent search topics, beating out her buddy Paris (fifth), Jessica Simpson (fourth), Shakira (third), and World Wrestling Entertainment (second). Federline didn't crack the Top 10.
"I don't take it too seriously," Federline said about the nearly unanimously negative press coverage. "Those are people who don't really know who I am." And who might that be? "I am a family man and that is me, that is the truth, that is all honesty, that is what it is."
