Bonnaroo Line-up Announced
There used to be a time when Bonnaroo, the annual music festival in Manchester, TN, had more jam than a Smucker’s factory. The four-day camping/outdoor concert initially catered solely to fans of the jam-band aesthetic, but now, in its sixth year, Bonnaroo is looking more eclectic than ever.Yesterday, the festival issued a press release confirming the lineup for Bonnaroo '07. On June 14th, fans from all over the country will gather to a 700-acre farm 60 miles south of Nashville to see performances by the Flaming Lips, Tool, the reunited Police, Wilco, the White Stripes, Franz Ferdinand, Wolfmother, Kings of Leon, the Decemberists, and many others. Of course, there is the obligatory ex-Grateful Dead appearance, fulfilled this year by Bob Weir and his band, Ratdog.
Tickets go on sale Friday, February 23rd at 12pm EST. For more information and a full list of performers, you can visit the Bonnaroo website.
