GNR's "Chinese Democracy" Delayed Yet Again
Long-suffering Guns N' Roses fans will have to suffer a little longer. Just days after a new GNR track called "Better" was tantalizingly leaked on a handful of music blogs, the band has announced that their forthcoming album, Chinese Democracy, still has no official release date. A "tentative" release date of March 6th was announced in December, but apparently the album is still not quite finished."The good news is that all of the recording for the album has been completed," a post on GNR's website read, adding that "the band is currently mixing" the final tracks. Axl Rose and his fellow musicians—none of them part of GNR's original lineup—have reportedly spent over $13 million working on Chinese Democracy, roughly $1 million for every year since the band's last album, 1993's The Spaghetti Incident.
