Justin Hawkins Returns for Eurovision
Last week, we announced the reformation of the Darkness without their charismatic lead singer Justin Hawkins. And now, after his rehab stint, Hawkins has announced that he will be competing as a British representative in the Eurovision song contest. His competition is East 17 singer Brian Harvey, ex-Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon, 90's pop-rockers Scooch, pop singer Cyndi, and urban pop group Big Brovas. One performer he won't have to compete with, however, is Morrissey, who briefly considered offering his talents to the competition but has since bowed out.The contest takes place in Helsinki, Finland on May 10-12. Last year's Eurovision winner was Lordi, a Finnish heavy metal band that dresses in full monster regalia.
