Pearl Jam to Headline Lollapalooza '07
Although the rest of the lineup won't be confirmed for several weeks, at least one band is apparently set to play this year's edition of the Lollapalooza festival: grunge rockers Pearl Jam. The news was first reported earlier today by the Chicago Sun-Times and later confirmed by Billboard.com.Pearl Jam first achieved fame as a live act when they were part of Lollapalooza in 1992, back when it was a touring festival. This year's Lollapalooza will return for a third year to Chicago's Grant Park, over the weekend of August 3-5.
