Tour Dispatch #1: Minneapolis, MN

I'm sitting here in my hotel room in snowy but sunny Minneapolis. Never been here before. I think this will be the 22nd state we play. Last night we did a great gig in Chicago. We played a small club called Martyrs' and it was rockin'. We've been to Chicago a few times now and it's always been nice, but we only been there in winter, so naturally it's been freezing! We met a lot of nice people in many different bars. Before the show me and Andy went to the Riviera Theater (where we supported Jimmy Eat World a few years ago) to see fellow Brits Aqualung. They actually come from the same town as Andy. Winchester to be exact. It was great seeing them, and they came over to see our show, and we had a few beers with them and our support band Mohair afterwards. Very nice.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our show in Toronto. There was a serious blizzard and Johnny went down with flu. Nothing we could do about that, but we're especially sorry because we were supposed to do a festival there in September, but that got cancelled, too. We'll definitely come back tho!

Tomorrow we fly out to San Francisco. Me and Björn are gonna rent a car and drive down to L.A., which should be awesome. It's probably a bit warmer down there too! See ya'll soon!
