Boston Lead Singer Found Dead
Brad Delp, the lead singer of '70s rock superstars Boston, was found dead in his New Hampshire home today, according to police. He was 55.The cause of Delp's death is under investigation, but local police lieutenant William Baldwin said there was no sign of foul play and characterized the death as merely "untimely."
Led by Delp's soaring vocals, Boston had a string of rock radio hits in the '70s and '80s, selling millions of records. The band's most recent album, the ironically titled Corporate America, came out in 2002, and featured Delp on only a handful of tracks.
