Joe Strummer Documentary Sees Release in May

Director Director Julien Temple—who filmed the Clash at one of their earliest rehearsals—will release Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten in theaters this May, after a premiering it at the Sundance Festival earlier this year. The documentary debuts exclusive unreleased footage of the Clash, as well as footage from Strummer's childhood. Additionally, the film features interviews with iconic personalities such as Bono, Martin Scorsese, and Clash guitarist Mick Jones about Strummer's impact on music.

The Future Is Unwritten will be released on May 18th in the U.K.. No U.S. release date has been set.
