Eccentric singer Isaac Brock gets into a fight with himself
Modest Mouse Tours, Self-Mutilates
Modest Mouse haven't even begun their proper nationwide tour, and lead singer Isaac Brock already seems to be breaking down from stress. According to Pitchforkmedia.com, Brock began hitting himself in the face with a microphone during a gig in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Sunday night, then cut his own chest with a pocket knife. Nevertheless, despite a reported "12 inch cut along his chest," Brock floated on with the rest of the performance, with bloodstains on the front of his t-shirt.Whatever the inspiration for the perplexing and public self-mutilation, we hope that the band is still able to continue with their nationwide tour, armed with new guitarist Johnny Marr, as planned.
