Ministers Concerned Over Elton John Appearance

Church leaders on Caribbean island believe the "Rocket Man" might inspire too much, er, gaiety
"His visit to the island can open the country to be tempted towards pursuing his lifestyle," said Philip Isaac, the archdeacon of Trinidad and Tobago. But he also expressed sympathy for John as a lost soul: "The artist is one of God's children, and while his lifestyle is questionable, he needs to be ministered onto."
Festival organizer Anthony Maharaj defends the John appearance saying, "We should be honoured to have him. This is a man who was knighted by the queen, who was highly complimented by Desmond Tutu." Granted, this was also a man who once wore a Donald Duck costume on stage, but we'll let that one slide.
